WORSHIP CELEBRATES CHRIST!

Its focus is upon God as both audience and honored guest. The worship ministries strive to build within the faith community a concept of God that empowers devotion to Him and service to His church. Music, the arts, and technology stimulate us to express a personal, authentic relationship to our Lord and to each other as His followers.

Those who have a common interest in these areas find an outlet for serving and belonging. Whether involved in choir, ensembles, band, sound, lighting, television, or projection teams, weekly opportunities exist to promote an environment of vital, enthusiastic celebration of Christ as Savior and Lord within a community that cares for and enjoys each other.

EXPRESS YOURSELF…

The primary function of music in corporate worship is inspirational: to stimulate a desire among those attending to participate in the exaltation of God in Christ. David appointed priests and Levites in the house of the Lord whose sole purpose was to minister before God with singing and musical instruments (1 Chronicles 6:31-32). The New Testament instructs us to “[s]peak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:19).
